Carpentry has always been one of the most common but challenging elements in a renovation project as we integrate usability with design. The colours, shapes, design, and functionality – when incorporated brilliantly, provide a warm and cosy ambience to our homes with ample convenience and comfort to our daily living. In this project, the home owner wishes to maximise the storage space with light and clean colour scheme. To achieve that, we proposed light colours for most of the carpentry works without heavy and complicated surface patterns. Furthermore, the elevation of a platform in the living area and bedroom creates a defined and dedicated space without relinquishing its original open-concept plan.
